OnPeak's History and Future
OnPeak Solar is a provider of professional solar electric system installations located in the Gloucester County, New Jersey. At OnPeak, we believe the future's realistic energy source is solar and our broadest mission is to be a driving force in the effort to initiate photovoltaic solar as a mainstream source of power in New Jersey. We are committed to providing those solar products and services that will maximize our customer's return on their investment in solar while allowing them at the same time to improve the environment.
History
The concept for our founders of creating a full service solar company such as OnPeak dates back to the late 1990's. Furthermore, distributed solar has been a passion for our founders for over two decades. In the early years of photovoltaics, reliability and efficiency were low, systems were expensive and often aesthetically unappealing. It took countries such as Germany and Japan, with much poorer solar resources than the United States, to initiate national commitments to solar that stimulated demand for more reliable, efficient and economical products.
With high power prices and rolling blackouts at the turn of the century, California began initiating incentive programs in earnest. New Jersey followed suit and by 2007 found public demand outstripping its ability to provide funds for rebates and other incentives. This forced the State to transition to a market based system of incentives (SREC) that compensates solar owners for the electricity they generate rather than the capacity of the systems they install.
With the advent of improved federal and state incentives, higher power prices in the northeast, and an exploding environmental awareness, it became apparent to the founders of OnPeak that it was now economically possible turn their vision of mainstream solar into a reality.
Focus for the Future
Without doubt, the demand for solar is exploding, and with it there is an explosion of providers but few with sincere interest and a specific focus on solar. OnPeak's commitment is to service Southern New Jersey. It is our intent to provide systems that will generate for our customer the lowest cost per kilowatt-hour of electricity over the life of their system thereby insuring the highest return on investment.

Salem County Fair
Salem County Fairgrounds, Route 40, Woodstown NJ
This was the 50th Anniversary of the Fair and turned out to be an excellent event for all. Similar to the Gloucester Fair, we provided a solar education demonstration with a fully functional two module system.
The event was open to the public
Gloucester County 4-H Fair / NJ Peach Festival
4H Fairgrounds, Route 77, Mullica Hill NJ
OnPeak provided a solar education demonstration at the 2009 Gloucester County 4-H Fair. We operated a fully functional two module system with a display showing generation. In addition, we provided other fun and interesting exhibits.
The event was open to the public and had various attractions for old and young alike.

PV America - June 8-10, 2009
Pennsylvania Convention Center
PV America was the nation's premier conference for the solar photovoltaic industry and brought together leaders from the technology, research, finance and business development communities to share the latest trends for photovoltaics. Organizers for the event included SEIA, IEEE, and MSEIA (the Mid-Atlantic chapter of SEIA).
OnPeak attended the event. Although we did not exhibit, we much appreciated the contact with other industry professionals and our suppliers.

Electrician
Onpeak is seeking a NJ Licensed Electrician preferably with NABCEP certification to assist in the residential installation of solar electric systems in the southern counties of New Jersey.

The information you have provided is for sole purpose of assisting the person you referred with the acquisition of a solar electric system from us and we will not rent or share this information. As an alternative instruct the person you are referring to contact OnPeak making sure they tell us that you referred them.
Conditions and Limitations: Each OnPeak installation can only be referred by one individual. In the case of two or more referrals for the same installation, only the first referral to be received by OnPeak will be eligible for the referral bonus of $250. OnPeak reserves the right to qualify referrals. Blanket referrals and referrals with no relationship are prohibited. Cannot be combined with any other offer.
